Project Finance and Management

This course provides an overview of the role and responsibilities of a project finance team throughout the different stages of planning and implementing a project. It explores how you anticipate and prevent problems that may arise during the course of a project, and result in overruns and helps you recognise time delays that could prove costly.

financial management is a process which brings together planning, budgeting, accounting, financial reporting, internal control, auditing, procurement, disbursement and the physical performance of the project with the aim of managing project resources properly and achieving the project’s development objectives. It looks at a range of techniques that are useful to the project finance team throughout the different stages of a project. You will end up with a set of tools you will need to review, revise and update financial models, anticipate revised outcomes and report to management.
