This Course will focus on basic technologies for the treatment of urban sewage. Unit processes involved in the treatment chain will be described as well as the physical, chemical and biological processes involved.
Course Objectives
- Recognize the Introduction to the Treatment of Urban Sewage process units in urban waste water treatment technologies
- Describe the function of these process units
- Describe the physical, chemical and biological processes involved
- Make simple design calculations on wastewater treatment plants
