INTRODUCTION

This course explores the interactions between HRM policies and contextual factors in a process of organizational change. We then develop a contingent vision of HRM issues — highlighting the influence of certain contextual factors, followed by a more political vision that reflects the power games between the different protagonists, each mobilizing specific elements of the context. It offers a more concrete understanding of the conceptualist analysis framework by discussing its application.
