Is no longer the exclusive domain of senior officials and HR professionals. Increasingly, managers at all levels play a critical role in identifying and helping to resolve HR issues in their teams and organizations. This course is designed to provide a graduate-level, practical overview of HR Management in the Public Sector making with a view to enhancing public sector performance in an era of fiscal restraint. Current questions and issues in HR Management will be explored and students will be actively involved in discussions on HR Administration practices in the modern public sector workplace. Participants are encouraged to read and share information from other public sector jurisdictions.
