Strategic HR Information Systems, People Analytics and Digital Workforce Management.

Human Resource Management is increasingly becoming a data-driven, technology-enabled and strategically integrated function. Organisations are moving beyond traditional personnel administration towards digital workforce management, where reliable employee data, analytics and intelligent HR systems support better decisions on talent, performance, workforce planning, productivity and organisational development.

The Strategic HR Information Systems, People Analytics and Digital Workforce Management programme is designed for HR Managers and professionals responsible for managing people, HR information, workforce planning and organisational performance. It provides advanced knowledge and practical skills for using HR Information Systems (HRIS), people analytics and digital technologies to improve the effectiveness, efficiency and strategic contribution of the HR function.

The programme explores the strategic use of HRIS across the employee lifecycle, including workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, employee records, attendance, performance management, learning and development, compensation, succession planning and employee engagement. Participants will learn how integrated HR systems can improve data accuracy, streamline processes, strengthen reporting and support evidence-based management.

A major focus is placed on People Analytics, enabling HR professionals to transform workforce data into meaningful insights for management decision-making. Participants will examine workforce metrics, HR dashboards, turnover and retention analysis, absenteeism, productivity, talent analytics, workforce forecasting and performance indicators.

The programme also addresses the emerging role of Artificial Intelligence and automation in HR, including AI-assisted recruitment, employee analytics, workforce forecasting, automated HR workflows and digital employee services. Attention will be given to responsible use of technology, including data privacy, cybersecurity, HR data governance, ethical AI, bias and appropriate human oversight.

Through practical exercises, case studies, HR analytics scenarios and digital workforce-management applications, participants will develop the ability to identify opportunities for improving HR processes and using workforce information to provide strategic insights to senior management.

Ultimately, the programme will enable HR Managers to transition from traditional administrative HR management towards a strategic, technology-enabled and analytics-driven HR function, improving workforce productivity, talent decisions, employee experience and overall organisational performance.
